School, Bodies, and Bones

This quarter I decided to take two five credit science classes. I like science! Right? One of my classes is forensic anthropology and the other one is human anatomy and physiology. I was super excited for these classes when I signed up for them. All I could think about is on the show Bones the main character is a forensic anthropologist and it would be so cool if I took a forensic anthropology class because then I could sound real smart like all the people on Bones! And then I decided that if I was going to learn about bones I should also learn about human anatomy and physiology. When my classes started up I began to realize something. Learning the correct names of the body parts is like learning a whole new language! Like fingers are called phalanges, which happens to be my all time favorite word! So although these classes seem crazy hard they are super cool and extremely interesting and I am still super excited to take these classes.
Here is a glance of some of the names of body parts that I have to memorize for my classes.

The Bible's Uniqueness

1. The Bible's 66 books were written over a span of 1500 years by 40 different authors who lived on three different continents and wrote in three different languages. Yet this diverse collection has a unified storyline and no contradictions.

2. Hundreds of biblical prophecies have been fulfilled. (Is 13; Dn 2; Lk 21:5-6)

3. The Bible has been confirmed as being historically, archaeologically, and geographically accurate.

4. The Old Testament is 99% accurate when compared to the Dead sea Scrolls dating from 200 B.C.

5. The New Testament is 99% accurate when compared to more than 5,600 partial and complete New Testament manuscripts dating from the first three centuries A.D.

Insert Name Here

So I have been writing a story over the past few years that I have been living back here in the USA. I would like to be able to write more in my story, but I get lazy and take a couple months break in between each time I write another part of it. Well her is a little something of the story that I have been writing.

~The forest went silent. The men around him slowed to a halt in confusion. Then there was a shout as a horse jerked to the side and the rider flung from his back. Aaron listened quietly as more men fell from their saddles yelling curses at their horses as the beasts ran for home. There was a thump when a man landed only inches away from Midnights giant hooves. Aaron held his breath expecting the man to leap up and sound the alarm, but the man only laid still, never to terrorize another person ever again. ~
(Still working on a name for it.)

A look through a dog's eyes

Yesterday started off as a normal day. I woke up, said good morning to the birds, crunched on my breakfast and then laid down in my favorite chair and took a nap. (The start of a perfect day) My day quickly became exciting when my people jingled my leash and asked me if I wanted to go for a walk. (That's my favorite thing!) My day got even better when my people took me for a car ride to go for a walk. (Also another one of my favorite things!) We went to a place with a long rocky road that was by a river for our walk. the water splashed all over me when I ran through it but I didn't care. (That was the good kind of water. Bathe water is the bad kind.) There were lots of very interesting smells by the river. I tried to smell all of them but there were to many. My people soon got tired and we had to come back home. (Another car ride!) During the second car ride I heard my people say the word "bath." (That is not one of my favorite things!) The moment I get home, one of my people (the care taker of us dogs) brings out fur shavers. I could tell that my day was going to go down hill from here. In what felt like years later my fur lifelessly laid in a pile next to me. Then I heard the dreaded "bath" word again. There I sat shivering in the bath tube that was full of the bid kind of water. My perfumey smell that I applied earlier that day was replaced by the smelly shampoo oder. (Not my favorite thing) Finally I was all done! My people surrounded my and told me I am a pretty doggie. They gave me lots of attention! (That's also my favorite thing!) My day ended with my curled up fast asleep on my care taker's bed dreaming about chasing birds.

Why is Christianity so different from other religions? Many people even Christians think that Christianity is just another religion. That is all it is, is just a religion with traditions that have been passed down over the years people think. I know I begin to wonder what is so important about Christianity? All we do is go to church to talk to good Christian people. Right? WRONG! Christianity is more than showing your face at your church every Sunday. It is our relationship with God. I would not want to call Christianity a religion.
A man named Jason Carlson once said, "Religions are human attempts to make our lives right with God. This is attempted through our good works, sacrifices, rituals, and money. However Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is about God entering human history to graciously save us through His Son Jesus Christ; and it is only by placing our faith in Him and His saving work on the cross that we can be saved."
One of my favorite bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11-14 "For I know the plans I have for you" - this is the Lord's declaration - "plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call me and come pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all of your heart. I will be found by you" this is the Lord's declaration. (HCSB)
To me that is what Christianity is. It is our relationship with God. Christianity is not about out traditions, not that they are bad, but it is about seeking God with all of our heart. It's about getting to know Him and talking to him. Praying in a group is great but I think it is so important for me to talk to God alone and just have a one-on-one with Jesus, and then to really dig deep into the bible and discover who he is.
Christianity is different from other religions because we can have a relationship with our God, and it turns into a personal thing not just a bunch of traditions passed on through time.

So I would say that I am one of those crazy horse loves. My walls are full of horse pictures, I have a ton of horse books and statues of horses and stuffed animal horses. I run around my house on my imaginary horse. I spend my free time watching youtube videos of horses and reading all that I can about them. Thankfully there is an online game all about horses called Howrse. In this game people who are crazy about horses, like myself, can own, train, and breed their own horses! Although I cannot own my own horse in real life, this game gives me and many other people the opportunity to own our own virtual horses.
The website is
If you are a horse crazy person you should check this game out!!!
