I really like earrings. These earrings that I bought today are really cool, because they don't just look nice, but they help a family in Guatemala. I think that's pretty neat.

My Grandpa

So, way way way back when my grandpa had to go to school, he had to write some papers for his classes. Here is one of my favorites.

This Crazy Adventure

God is so amazing! I still can't believe that He sent me here for dla! So far we've prayed a lot. We have done the most ridiculous team challenges. We have spent hours learning all the ropes of this program. And we've spent some time with the high schoolers and JH schoolers.
Many people have asked me before I came over here, "So, what will this program do for you? Will it help you get a job?"
I finally might have an answer. This program is teaching me how to pursue God whole heartily, and to pray continually. When people pray things happen. It's also refining some skills such as cleanliness, and self discipline. Yes, I think that this can help me get a job. I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to do the rest of my life. Hopefully I will be able to figure that out this year.
I'm really excited to see what all God does this year! Crazy stuff are going to happen!!

So, I finally made it to Colorado Springs! I'm super glad I don't have to be in that car anymore. The family that I am staying with are super nice. Tomorrow there is some orientation for DLA. I'm excited. This is going to be a good year.

An even longer car ride....

We left our hotel around 8:30 in the morning and made it to our next hotel at 9 tonight! It wouldn't have been as long of a trip, but we decided to stop and go on a tour through a cave. That was cool!

First Stop!

After 500 miles and a little over 9 hours we made it to Missoula, Montana! It's a pretty cool place. Not much is here! It was one long drive here, but I'm glad I'm going! Also I found out who my host family is! I talked to Kelly and she seems super nice. Anyways here are a few pictures from the drive here.

This was this wild horse monument we saw on our way! It was super cool!

The hotel I'm staying at. Here it is.

Time's Up

I can't believe I am really heading off to Colorado Springs tomorrow! I packed most of my stuff in my car today. It took forever, and I took many long breaks.

This is a fun idea Katy Sassyperilla told me about this summer. You take a plain boring composition book and turn it into a fun exciting prayer journal!

Here are a few picture I took from the last hiking trip I went to with my mom and sister.

Here was the place we went.

My mom!

This gross snake tried to scare me.

I really like this picture.

I'm not sure what that plant is.

So Close!

Tomorrow will be my last full day here in Washington! I still can't believe I'm going to Colorado Springs for a year! I'm super excited! I leave this Wednesday at 8 a.m. and I'll get there this Friday. It's going to be one looooooong car ride!
Anyways, here are some fun pictures of a few horses from Miracle Ranch.

Here's Dixie!

Sunny's saying "hello."

How Great is Our God

I was sitting on our couch watching some space documentary with my dad, and it made me think. Space is huge! And Earth is not that large in the universe. God made it all. I'm sitting here in my room, and I'm not even a speck compared to this Earth I live on. But God loves me and is interested in me. He is way bigger than everything past Earth, but He cares about tiny, little, small me. That's crazy!

There is this guy called Louie Giglio, and he can explain this all way better than me, so you guys should watch this video. It's really amazing!

How great is our God!!!

Katy Stiffler

Favorite color: Blue
Favorite food: Strawberries
Favorite song: Fall Afresh by Jeremy Riddle
Favorite childhood memory: Going to my Grandpa's lake cabin in Maine every summer

If you could save the world, how would you do it? Tell them about Jesus, Duh!
What would you tell people about Jesus? How HE sees them.
What is something Jesus is telling you? To fall more in love with Him.

Good verse: Philippians 2:14-15, Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
